Daraja

Research proposal AI

Develop a clear research direction and keep your objectives, evidence and methods aligned, from topic identification to Chapters 1–3 and research instruments.

Value to you

A structured proposal journey with traceable sources and original synthesis for your review.

Research journey & originality

Topic: Refine the problem, feasibility, research questions and objectives.

Empirical review: Compare studies, methods and findings, with sources checked against the original material.

Chapters 1–3: Develop the background and problem, literature and conceptual framework, then methods and analysis plan.

Instruments: Draft questionnaires and interview guides for expert review and pre-testing.

Chapisho

Video-to-book AI

Give your authorised video content a second life as a readable, chapter-based book draft, with its source attached for review.

Value to you

Turn recorded knowledge into a resource you can edit, share and save to your chosen folder.

What the studio supports

Set a title, audience and chapter count. Use an available transcript or provide your own text. The AI route creates an attributed draft with a table of contents and source notes for your review.

YouTube transcription and book generation need provider setup before live processing. Use content you own or have permission to adapt, and review source accuracy and quotations before publication.

Stawisha

Meeting records & proposal defence support

Keep a useful record of your meetings. A planned defence companion will help you understand a panel's question, find the relevant proposal evidence and shape a clear response.

Value to you

Revisit important conversations and explain your research with guidance grounded in your own proposal.

Defence companion · in development

Upload your proposal before a rehearsal or permitted defence session. The planned listening plugin will identify the question's focus and retrieve the relevant chapter, section and page.

It will suggest a concise response, explain how it connects to your research and flag questions your proposal does not answer. The aim is prompt guidance without invented evidence.

Designed for practice and live sessions where the panel or institution permits assistance, with participants informed before listening. Proposal upload, live question detection and response guidance are still in development.

Meeting recorder · provider setup needed

Send a named assistant into Google Meet for a speaker-labelled transcript and recording. The host admits it and participants are informed. Provider setup and a verified event connection are needed before a bot can join.

Choose a local folder in a supported browser and keep the tab open for automatic saving. Completed files can also be saved when you return.

Mhakiki

Fact-checking & sourced corrections

Help readers judge a factual claim with sourced evidence and a clear correction prepared for the platform where it appeared.

Value to readers

See the claim, supporting evidence and remaining uncertainty together before sharing.

Agentic verification and social delivery

A connected AI agent can collect accessible public claims, trace their sources and save researched drafts. Reviews distinguish supported claims, contradictions, missing context, uncertainty, opinion and satire.

Approved fact-checks can be published on IPC. Returning a correction to its original platform requires an authorised social connection and a supported post or reply operation. Live feeds and automatic social publishing are awaiting verified connections.

Pilot enquiries open

AI skills your team
can put to work.

Help staff use organisation-approved AI tools to improve the work they already do: reports, customer follow-ups, data analysis and internal processes.

Ujuzi AI is IPC's proposed training programme for companies, NGOs, research teams and other institutions. Start with a real task, practise together and assess both efficiency and effectiveness.

What your team takes away

  • A shortlist of tools suited to the team's tasks and approved by the organisation.
  • Three reusable workflows with prompt templates and human review steps.
  • A comparison of task time, output quality and rework before and after training.
  • A staff champion and a 30-day plan for continued practice.

Outputs and evaluation criteria are agreed when scoping the pilot. No client results are claimed yet.

A proposed four-week pilot

  1. Week 01 / Assess

    Choose useful work.

Map recurring tasks, staff confidence and current tools. Select the pilot task and record a baseline.

  2. Week 02 / Practise

    Build practical skills.

Learn clear prompting, document and spreadsheet workflows, source checks and responsible data handling.

  3. Week 03 / Apply

    Improve a team workflow.

Work through a department task. Explore an agent workflow with defined permissions and approval points.

  4. Week 04 / Evaluate

    Keep what helps.

Compare time and quality, demonstrate the workflow and agree how staff will keep using it.

Department labs & tool selection

Administration & operations

Meeting actions, report preparation, document comparison and standard process drafts.

Sales & customer service

Enquiry triage, approved follow-up drafts, customer FAQs and campaign preparation.

Finance & research

Spreadsheet explanations, checked summaries and evidence-led reporting. Staff verify calculations and source material.

People, leaders & technical champions

Training guides, use-case selection, adoption support and review of where agents can safely act.

Compare tools for task fit, quality, ease of use, access, total cost and organisation approval. Use approved or synthetic practice data. Staff learn to verify outputs before sharing or acting on them.

Delivery formats & engagement model

Executive briefing: a half-day session to identify valuable use cases and set a direction.

Team lab: a two-day practical workshop around selected staff tasks.

Department pilot: a four-week learning and workflow project with a baseline and evaluation report.

Ongoing support: optional monthly clinics, coaching for staff champions and workflow review.

IPC proposes a fixed fee per workshop cohort or department pilot, with an optional support retainer. Quotes depend on team size, delivery format, preparation and agreed outputs. Tool licences and any integration work are scoped separately.

How the pilot measures value

Efficiency: total task completion time, including checking and revision.

Effectiveness: accuracy, completeness, usefulness to the task and the amount of rework, assessed with the same review rubric before and after.

Adoption: whether participants can repeat the workflow independently and whether the staff champion can support the team.

Compare equivalent tasks using a consistent method. Results will be reported with their sample and limitations; no productivity percentage or financial return is promised in advance.

Global models informing the programme

This is an independent IPC programme. Its proposed approach draws on public examples of workplace AI learning:
